STORAGE RENTAL APPLICATION FORMS



SAFEGARD LEASE INSTRUCTIONS


Above you will find the necessary documentation to rent a unit or parking space. You must include a copy of your driver’s license or state ID. You must be 18 years of age to secure a space. If you are filling out the packet online, please complete all the highlighted areas on each form by tabbing through the document. Attention Vehicle Applicant: To secure an RV or Parking space, you must be the registered owner, provide a current registration and proof of insurance. 

Lease Packet Instructions:


  • Safegard Self Storage Tenant Information Form. Please write a 4-digit passcode, in the passcode space provided on the form. This will allow you access into the property. You will not be granted access to the space until the space is paid for. 
  •  Tenant Insurance. You are responsible for insuring your stored property. A form is provided for you should you choose to use Minco Insurance. Check with your homeowner’s insurance agent to see if your stored property is covered under your current insurance policy. 
  • Inspection Report. This form will be filled out after you inspect the unit. Please note any damage in the unit on this form and fill out all the highlighted areas. 
  • Lease Agreement. The Lease Agreement consists of eight (8) pages, so make sure you read through all the pages. Rules and regulations apply to everyone driving a vehicle onto our facility. Skip the Vehicle and Boat Parking Agreement if this does not apply to you. If you are renting a parking space, you must be the registered owner, provide a copy of your registration, and provide proof of insurance to store it on our lot. The vehicle must be in working order at all times and may not be a project vehicle or towed on to the lot. 
  • Auto Bill Form. If you would like to have us automatically bill your credit card for your rent as a recurring charge on the first day of each month, sign the form and call our office with your credit card information
  • Vacate Notice. Nothing needs to be done with this form until you are ready to vacate the space. You must be out of the space on or before the last day of the month to not be charged another month of rent. You must provide the Notice of Intention to Vacate form or your own written notice 10 days before vacating. We prorate rent on move in, do not prorate on move out.
